Damn the PS3 scene looks so stagnant

its bout time somebody came up with a hack.

am thinking of goin legit if GTA V actually releases on oct this year as E3 analyst said.

or not if it comes out early on PC .
 
if you wanna play pirated games buy xbox. PS3 if you can afford originals as these TB dongle you never know when they will stop the support. with xbox 360 you can be totally sure that there will be pirated games
 
Hi ... Did anybody try downgrading OFW 4.11 to 3.55 using E3-Flasher?

Can anybody please tell me where in Bangalore I can get this done?

Or anybody having E3-flasher to sell?
 
@Kekerode: Don't bother purchasing the device, unless you have a sound knowledge of soldering and other technicalities involved in the rest of the process.

Unfortunately, I'm not from Bangalore, so would have no idea who does this downgrading. In fact, I'm not sure if anyone in Bombay even does that. I guess people are just so used to getting an older firmware based console and flashing the custom firmware on their own, that they don't bother with this E3 flasher drama. Are you yet to purchase the console or do you already have it?

i already got PS3 from TE itself ... it has h/w version CECH-2508b ... so if E3 flasher is there then downgrade is possible

now only thing is either i can invest in E3 flasher or downgrade service and give it a try or just get the GoW series and play happily

dude, i would suggest you to leave the though of a flasher aside, for a while, search on ivg and buy the used gow discs, play them and then resell those, if you want..

in my opinion, this will provide a good amount of time for you to make up your mind and as others have suggested, it would be difficult tof lash your console if you ain't having any experiencing in solderin, etc.. and getting a <3.55 console will still be easier, and feasible if you've got the dough..
 
I fail to understand why people jump on ps3 just because it has bluray ? 360 is more mature product if you want homebrew running on it
 
I have old fat 20GB ps3 at 3.21 OFW. Will the kmeaw 3.55 CFW work on it? Read somewhere that fat PS3 may get bricked while slim doesn't.
 
20GB PS3? Do you meant the 40GB version? Nope. Kmeaw's is probably the safest CFW available right now. The bricking part only came up with Waninko's initial CFW's.
