Does anyone have distance meter ?
Yes i have one,but its Sound based not the more expensive and accurate laser distance meter.If you want a laser based one check out the nearest bosch dealer.

If one is using a DMM then most can only measure upto 10A or at the max 20A.You will need to run the DMM in series with device being measured.
For measuring just voltage a DMM should be fine,but for measuring power one will need a clamp meter which again needs to be a really good one to get accurate reading,since the the slight change in the clamps direction/position alters the reading.
Power is best measured in a TRMS capable meter,getting a TRMS DMM/clamp meter costs around 5k or more.So its best to buy a watt meter (but not the dirt cheap Chinese ones,,some of the good ones should be just accurate as the energenie ones).But if ones need a accurate reading get a TRMS capable power meter like the MECO PG09H or PG09
