Current aahat seems to have cheap production values. Saw 20min and changed. Still will try and check back later. Acting in CID has become bad and the show on the whole has a cheap look. Still worth a watch sometimes.

I myself dont check the "Last Movie seen" thread. I felt bit cheated watching this on imax due to incompatibility. So thought there would be scores of people like me who would want to know that this movie is not imax compatible. Dont strain yourself. I dont expect you to get it :P

I didnt like Transformers 2 but liked this one. Do you like apocalyptic movies in general? If yes, then you will like this. Disclaminer: I am a big fan of apocalyptic movies and the premise by itself sets up the mood for me.

2012 is a decent apocalyptic movie. Not much time is wasted and you get straight to the point. Special effects are good and the dimmed lighting hides glitches if any. The characterization and screenplay has a B grade look, but the visual effects are grade A. Definitely worth a watch IMO. PS...

I saw the movie in imax, but the movie is not imax compatible, so no point. The movie is worth a watch though.

If available the LH 90 47" LED LCD is excellent VFM. LCDs have evolved greatly and have also decreased in price. A 50" plasma is a power hogger, expect upto 400W consumption.
