OP, although there are better PSUs on the market, i don't think your current PSU is a problem. try some other games and thoroughly uninstall then re-install the drivers.

You will need an EQ to lower the treble because these TWs will make your ears hurt. Bass, IMHO, is very mild compared to PL11. Think of yourself sitting in a rickshaw with the music loud. This is TW.

x53ta. very high on VFM, power efficient and will last you a while. gt540m is only slightly faster and A6 processing is really good for everyday things. plus you get Crossfire with APU+GPU so nothing goes to waste. :P

if you are satisfied with gaming performance right now, wait until Sandy Bridge for 32nm quads. These should perform much better than old quads with MUCH lower TDP. Also, if you are using AA & AF, the perf gap between 2 & 4 core CPUs closes as the GPU then becomes bottleneck.
