Airtel Speed Upgraded?

yeah!,pls do elaborate,i called airtel CC and said that i too should be getting double speed.

He completely denied it.

I tried talking in every possible way

And when i said i want to disconnect this airtel broadband.

He said no problem,pls continue.

Why bother... enjoy till it last... Even I'd not contacted AIRTEL about speed upgrade or any confirmation... I sincerely hope it gets permanent... I am completing all my bookmarked lists & backlog... :hap2:
 
speed doubled for me as well from the last two weeks (kolkata). No FUP problem so far. I guess the night caps are still not applicable for old customers. (1099 plan - 512kbps day/1mbps night).

I too have been getting crazy (1mbps) speeds for the last 2 weeks, my plan is quite an old one though (512kbps with 5G day limit and night u/l).

Strangely no mail or notification, but had recently received a call from a third party comp. conducting customer satisfaction surveys for Airtel.

Maybe, giving positive feedback is good thing to do as far as Airtel is concerned! :p

and after upgradation your FUP for all plans is supposed to be the same as old and your after-FUP speed should be half of your doubled speed

Using Explore 1099 plan. Getting this speed since.. 14th Jul 2010... So almost a month. Downloaded more than 300GB... :hap2:

I think we should not be discussing this here. :p
CC guys might come to know and will revert this.
I am not sure whether the increased speeds are permanent.
 
Have emailed them multiple times,No positive result.

Even talked to thier CC,utter crap nonsense.

I will be moving to reliance soon.

I am currently having 512kbps day and 1mbps night,ACCORDING TO AIRTEL MY SPEEDS

SHOULD HAVE BEEN DOUBLED BY JULY.

They have not,

Please do the needful and change it to 1mbps day,and 2mbps night.

Most of my friends are enjoying double speeds,and are paying lesser for a much

better speed than mine.

Please do look into the above matter,if this issue is not resolved.I’m sorry to

say this i will have to look at other broadband providers
