Airtel Speed Upgraded?

no man,im on turbo 1299 plan(512 day and 1meg at night),you were on swift 1099 plan 512kbps throughtout(day and night) and your speed was increased to 1mbps.
Mine has NOT been doubled,to lets say atleast 1mbps throughtout day and night.
That is my problem.
EDIT:
Just called and blasted them,They shifted me to retention department,i said that thier plans should equal reliance plan to which i am planning to change to(1099 1mbps unlimited or night booster zoom1 1mbps day,2mbps night),so i have given them a 2 day deadline.
They said they will get back..
Let me wait and hope for airtel's pledge to be genuine..

i got this message today. and i have been getting 2mbps from past 1 week. FUP is 30gb after that 1mbps

Now i am stuck with a 2mbps plan with 30gb FUP!!

Okay, looks like my plan speed (Confirmed by another Airtel user with the same plan in the same city) Freedom 2499 (2Mbps 100GB FUP) has been upgraded.
2Mbps by day and from 10PM to 6AM, getting around 5Mbps.
Considering we were paying around 2780 per month (incl taxes) and noticing the 512kbps and 1Mbps users getting upgraded, about damn time, I say.

me got a call from airtel to get 1699 plan @40gb fup and 2mbps and antivirus,games,blahblah free included . i accepted but till now the plan has not come into effect . lets see if it goes from next billing cycle .
currently i have 1mbps with 25gb fup as said by airtel then 512kbps if fup crossed not 256kbps as its 2 years old plan . however it had 100gb fup , why they reduced it to 25gb . sad people .

from yesterday i am getting 1 mbps in the day and 2mbps at night...this is so awesome....i was about to quit airtel and take reliance, but thank god the upgrade came at a good time....since i havent got any calls form airtel so i guess my FUP is same as before wjich is 100GB....i was on 1299 turbo plan.....ITS GO GOOD TO BE TRUE.....
But has the FUP been applied to anyone yet? I'm still cruising with the same speed with no visible FUP application till now and it's nearing the end of my billing cycle. Besides, I can't view my unbilled amount page for some reason.
Looking at Huntu123's post, even I should be getting 2Mbps at night as my scheme is the same. I am content with 1Mbps 24/7 thought, but it wouldn't kill to watch the speed throttle to 2Mbps at night. Yes, greed is a disease!

it only affects some regions where airtel has bandwidth shortages because of low wiring and other problemsEthan_Hunt said:

you should contact airtel presence for that,they may try to put you off saying that its wrong but don't listen to their shit.

Boy you must have gone on a massive downloading spree. Did you keep your rig on 24/7?
I ran out of stuff to download and couldn't think of anything. So I kept downloading some demos for my PS3 or at most point, the connection would just remain idle. At least now I know that this upgrade isn't temporary.
