BSNL 3G Thread

Anyone from Gujarat circle can confirm this. One of my friend bought new 2G SIM with 98 recharge. In daytime it is fixed to 128 Kbps but after 9 PM. he gets around 2 Mbps speed till 8 or 9 in the morning.

The Same way, it happened during those 274 days :P

The only difference being ,no UL plans to enjoy such speeds :(

Reconnect also does not work. Nothing works i guess apart from Mobile partner. Same error 31. It is surely OS issue and not modem as when i installed windows XP using vmware under this win 7, it worked in that VMware installed XP :S

Nevermind, thanks for help. Will have to live with it for now.

Heh I wish I can do that but I guess it isn't possible anymore. :P

BSNL 3G - it was good while it lasted. Loved the connection. Cheap and offered a constant 2-2.5 mbps downloads 24x7 with some disconnections. Switched to Reliance now at more than double the price and the speeds are 1 mbps during the day!
 
pl advice me: Am bit confusing, either i go to BSNL 3G mobile sim or BSNL 3G stick mode. Want to give good net to my kids for education surfing.

My bad, i didnt explain you well. My idea is to create new username for your windows login not the new dialup connection.
 
^^Oh you meant that ??? In that case i will surely try that tonight and see if it works. I hope it does. Btw the new user should be what type (admin, power user ???). I am not much aware about user accounts in windows 7 and would want to play safe.
 
Anyone here in Pune facing super frequent disconnections and not even connecting sometimes, such types of issues ?? I am facing that since last 2 days

Same issue here, having disconnections and after 10pm "PPP Link" error for past 3 days now.:@
I bought the 3g card 1 week back, disappointed a bit.

Living in Vishrantwadi, getting speed of around 1 to 1.5 mbps all the time, but after 12pm i get around 200kbps.

Do you have the same experience ?

Here in Surat, Gujarat I am also experiencing frequent disconnections and some times loss of connectivity, seems BSNL has got its hands full.
 
Its working great here in Cochin with speeds above 400 KBps all the time. :D Not many disconnections here, every 4 GB of data transfer it gets disconnected.

In my case it gets disconnected frequently. At evening till night, all i do is either download using IDM or torrents and in between it disconnects. Due to this i am also not able to download from MU/RS etc because of no resume.

I do not get any PPP error or so. But sometime, the mobile partner screen shows just connecting and never actually connects. Sometimes says "connection terminated" and gives option of redial. When connected there are patches where speeds are like 300-600 kbps and rest of time they are fine at 2-2.5 Mbps
