Gabriel rear shockers - 900 (pair)

Photo session coming after complete upgrade :p

Get the gabriel ones :p better

Or, if you are 80+KG, go for Pulsar DTSI non gas shocks for the rear, they have silver springs.

I'm 65kg :p , so I guess the pulsar shocks will be too stiff.

I'm also looking for compatible shocks with the silver/chrome springs..couldn't find any :(

Bought a couple of things.

1. Silencer pipe - Rs. 946
2. Rear shockers (endurance) - Rs. 700 pair.

After fitting the new pipe, the sound is soft and the thump is missing. Is it coz the pipe is new or adjustments need to be made

Ooold silencers from junkyards sound much better than newer ones. I'm using one from the junkyard now.
 i told you :p

Time for rubber change.

Everyone is recommending Zapper Q for the rear, but the Zapper Q is available in 100/90 which looks much bigger than the standard 3.00-18, how about Zapper C ?

Get zapper Q 90/90-18. haqve it on both my bikes

else get muchelin M45 3x18 or 3.25x18. will cost 1.5k w/o tube

I got a quote of 1250 and 1150 for the Michelin M45 3.00-18 and 2.75-18 respectively

Wow- nice prices compared to rest of India, especially Mumbai.
Get 3.00x18 for rear, 2.75x18 for front.
Follow the tiny arrow on the tread to fit as per direction of rotation for the rear.
Fit the front in the opposing way. :p
Trust me- for those who like to lean, these things are as good as streetsafe stickies when it comes to dry or wet tarmac.
Infact brilliant in wet- and i mean really really wet conditions. :)
Best tread+compound available locally for any Indian make for INDIAN roads. :hap2:

Relatively softer compound- so other regular brands might make more sense if you ride absolutely staright 24x7, especially 2-up.
MRF Nylogrip Plus may last you 40,000 Kms or more- but grip like plastic chappals on highly polished granite floors.
