Can you share what all protection you are using with your NST and the source from where you got the same.

Also, matte screen protector to avoid fingerprints right? Or is there any other advantage?
As far as I gather, e-Ink displays are pretty good for outside reading, which also happens to be one of the main reasons why people go for matte/anti-glare protectors.
 
@nimod Can you provide a link for the screen protector and case?

Was thinking about getting a 7" tab screen protector locally and then cutting it to size.
And about the case, Aliexpress has some cases for around 7$ - 9$. Was thinking about ordering the cases after I get the device in hand.

Screen protector would be same as that for kindle i think.available on ebay.in
I had ordered the flip case from ebay.com.You can easily get that ~5$ in an auction.But never reached me.Anything without tracking has a high chance of getting lost.Figured out a sleeve would be better since a flip case would add too much bulk to it.

Are you certain about Kindle screen guard fitting the NST? I was almost certain to order this pair from eBay.com, 2X For Barnes & Noble Nook 2 6" Clear Screen Protector.
As for the case, @hotshot05, I believe you are referring to this one, Original cover case for Noble nook simple touch 2nd/3th free shipping.
Must admit it's very attractive for the price.

Also, NST is on its way to PPO warehouse. Tracking shows package weight at 1.4 lbs :(!

Cant be sure about the same size.Please google it.
Using a clear screen protector may not be such a good idea.Screen may become reflective.And the case does look good!!Shipping time is frustrating though..

thats right. nook GL's screen is so soft that even if yoy drop a medium size metal key on it, you'll see depression marks on it in glow mode. thats the only reason i didn't buy GL.
i have seen many complaints about it on internet.

right now my NST only had a matte screen guard. reason are exactly what you have mentioned.

this seems a good cover at the price. while ordering more quantities we can negotiate better shipping service from the seller.

please avoid clear-type screen protectors. they are reflective. it will spoil the screen's looks in sunlight.

we would really love to read books on nooks in sunlight in this winter.
