Yes. Would have preferred to get onboard with your order but since the GO thread was going nowhere, I decided to get one. As you said, let's see what the landing price amounts to.
Am also certain to order that case from AliEx.
@nimod, your comments have made me think twice about a clear screen protector now. Will decide on the same after I get the device in my hand.
Also, my NST was delivered to NJ warehouse yesterday and shipped out for India already (as per PPOBox Chat Operator). He/She gave me an ETA of 5 Dec. for package's Mumbai arrival.

Most probably will order the screen protector and cover from AliExpress. How will I know if the screen protector is glossy or matte?
Does it really require a screen protector if it is in a case?

NST display without screen-protector looks better (less reflective) than a clear-screen-applied display.

I couldn't find any screen protector for nook from any indian seller. so i bought an ipad matte screen protector and cut out a smaller piece for my NST.
In direct sunlight matte protectors don't let screens glare. and its always better to protect the screen from foreign objects.

Nice idea bro.Were you able to make 2 protectors from 1??Since kindle screen size is same,its matte protector can also be used.But its more than twice the price of 1 for ipadNST display without screen-protector looks better (less reflective) than a clear-screen-applied display.

Got it today evening through Blue Dart.
Here's a copy-paste of the invoice I received from PPO the day before yesterday.
So the deal's been killed in my case. A grand savings of 500 bucks over what is available on eBay.in (am factoring in the discount as well, otherwise the savings are close to 1K). Am not too perturbed though, this one's for the long run. However, hope you guys get it for cheaper.
Am charging it for the moment. But on first look, everything seems fine.

If additional duties and taxes are applied ,we are ****ed....
Customs might be approx 800 per device (if additional duties are applied , and this includes the DHL Clearing fee).
If additional duties not applied , then customs duty is expected to be lower.

Approximate dimensions of the box in which the NST was delivered to me are 30x22x12 cm (do the math from here). These services consider actual weight or volumetric weight while billing, whichever is higher. You might already be knowing this.
The box contained a couple of air pouches and sported and B&N branding on all sides. TBH, 2-3 NSTs could have been placed comfortably in that single box.

Charged it up to the full and loaded some of the epubs I had with me. Such a pleasure to read.
However, I can't resist the urge to ensure some protection for the screen. The matter iPad screen you talked about, did you apply it yourself?

.Yes, you can easily cut out two.
Use the first piece for learning how to apply it and the other one to apply it properly.
By the way, Its its a very easy thing to do. Do it in dust-free air.
Take care that no bubble remains while you are sticking the sheet.
Check some videos on youtube.
You can get a ipad matte protector from ebay for about 150.
