Graphic Cards GPU pricing trends

It won't make much of a difference to the current midrange (3060Ti/6700xt etc) tbh since they'll be announcing the high end GPUs only.
Definitely worth waiting 6 days though just to see if it'll affect current market prices in any way.
Yea will do that. Had a last minute impulse to go for 6800XT as my next upgrade will be 5~7years later but that would require a PSU upgrade too. Lets see what the RX7xxx series brings about

Bhai take the cheapest one but in good looking condition. You'll get nothing from spending extra on Asus card. there's only 7% difference in performance between 3060ti and 3070. For 1080p 3060ti is fine for next few years.
Okay bro, Asus card had 1 year warranty confirmed while I wasn't sure about inno 3d one so I was thinking of going for ASUS. But now I settled for a gigabyte 3060 12 GB at 20500 with 2 years warranty. I think it is enough for 1080p.

Bad decision IMO... There's a big performance gap between 3060 and the 3060ti because both a different chips. 3060ti is actually cut down version of 3070 (same chip) and not a beefed up version of 3060.
for extra 3K more you could get 35% more performance. While going with 3070 over 3060ti you only get 7% more performance.

But that 35% performance comes into play when the fps is already above or near 100. For most of the games, the difference is just 10 -12 frames. Also, the price difference is 5k because I won't go for inno 3d as it's warranty is not confirmed. Also, my processor is 4790k too so I won't be able to get the full performance from 3060 ti and I will be upgrading to 4000 series once I upgrade my system and switch to 1440p. That is my reasoning. I may be totally wrong though . :-D

3060ti and 3070 aa great 1440p cards
That is why I am confused from the morning. Finally decided to save some money and be done with it.
For now, not for long maybe 1-2 more years after that settings have to be compromised starting with textures as they don't have enough VRAM.
Gone are the times when you can buy high end hardware and make it last 5+ years with no compromises.
I was also thinking the same. That is why I am thinking of 4000 series with 10 GB VRAM for 1440p.

smarter is to wait for AMD`s event scheduled on november 3 .Even nvidia might be waiting for it if RDNA3 delivers than Nvidia will have to forcefully launch the remaining 40 series card .If rdna 3 and its pricing is underwhelming Nvidia will first try to empty it rtx 30 series inventory with fancy new sku`s maybe with larger vram and than launch remaining 40 series card.

So what will be the actual waiting time? Launch event and cards being available in the market ? Nov end or Jan 2023?

go with 3070, ping @mzsa1994 to see if you can make a deal for an exchange. He was looking for 3060 12gb and recently bought 3070 which he will eventually exchange so you guys might get a good deal for an exchange.
I mean how long we have to wait to see the effect in the market?
probably 15 days to 1 month
