Graphic Cards GPU pricing trends

You pay to the admin plus admin charges and seller ships the card in 2 days. You make unboxing video and confirms everything is fine. Seller gets the money. If the card is faulty you still have to ship it back at your expense. Most of these Facebook sellers do not have the cards. Cards ship from somewhere else. They themselves don't know if the card is fine or not. Recently a guy lost 54000 RS because the card was lost and he bought from a trusted member or a admin. So, buy carefully.
I was looking to buy from one of these groups via admin method. How much do these admins charge for themselves?

I got an invite from rptech india regarding rtx3080ti founders edition. Anybody wants please PM me. Okay.
Last I got an invite they were still living in a dreamworld selling the 3080ti fe for 90k lol...many 3080ti asus and gigabyte models are now 75k

How much did they quote you? Maybe they are coming back to Earth

They’re spamming invites. Got 2 at the same address.

Send them "Agar ek ke sath ek free dena hai to bolo warna age bado" as a reply.

I think they need to be reminded that invites were needed when demand outweighed stocks. Do they even know the current market situation? 4080s are going to be gathering dust at 1.2 lacs.

So the reviews of RTX 4080 are out and boy, this GPU beats the 3090Ti by 10% to 20% in all resolutions and is second to RTX 4090.

Gaming power consumption (GPU only) -

Just imagine if this was priced for 90k. Feel bad to people who bought 3090Ti.

I need to add approx. 40-50k after selling my current 3080Ti. Performance gap is not that huge. But power consumption is impressive, around 60w less. Still I think I will stick with my 3080Ti(my mini room heater) and survive 2023.

Or upgrade to 4080 for now. 4080 is being sold for what 3080Ti was being sold for, when it was launched. But its performance surpasses that of the 3090Ti while consuming less power. If 3080Ti is getting the job done for you and you are able to resist yourself against an upgrade or loosing a lot of money, keep the 3080Ti for now.

4080 will be such a famous second-hand card man after 1-year xD for me power consumption really matters and that's why its kind of a win for me, but of course, there is AMD cards as well. Can't wait for their benchmarks

The discussion in July,
I don't think prices of 40 series graphics card will overlap with 30 series ones. If 4080 is twice as fast than 3080 then it'll also cost twice as much.:cool::cool:

4080 will be more like 75-80k if they're being sane, or if they pull a 3080ti and price it more than a lakh then I'll be sticking with my 1650 till it dies. I only need the 4070 at 65k

I think msrp will be higher but regardless of performance they wont increase it to double, it might get scalped for higher during initial days due to stock of 3rd gen cards.

I'm seeing a lot of opinions on pricing, here's my 2 cents (assuming crypto will be dead by sept-oct):
3080 was 65% faster than 2080 yet maintained the same msrp, so performance increase doesn't mean price increase.
And they sold a lot more of these 3000 series GPU than they did 2000 series so there will be a lot more used 3000 series GPU on the market so more choice for the potential 4000 series buyer.
Nvidia's stock has dropped 50% in last 6 months and they can't afford a poor reception of 4000 series.

With all that in mind I don't see the price of 4080 increasing if it is less than or around 40% faster than 3080, if its around 60-70% faster than 3080 I can see them increasing the price by a max 200$ and under no circumstance will it cost more than 1000$ even if by some miracle it doubles the performance of 3080.

3080 launch price $699
4080 launch price $1199
