Graphic Cards GPU pricing trends

Igpus aren't as future proof as most dedicated gpus. Unless intel comes out with real hard hitters the prices aren't going to fall much.
that comment was to highlight that intel definitely knows how to integrate/implement a gpu/drivers etc . Intel might go with approach of best upscaling technique rather than going heavy on hardware to keep cost/power consumption in check and capture the market share in the 3050 to 3070 ti price range they will be more than happy

Right now the hot selling GPU's are 1650 Super/3050/2060 and 3060's because a lot of gamers as per the data from Steam, still game @ 1080p. So Intel will try to launch products which was target a lot of these users. How many of us here have 3070's or 3080's or 3090, I would say few only. But yes, in coming months the prices are going to come down and that is what most local vendors are saying in Bangalore. Plus they are asking to wait for DDR5 RAM as its prices are also going to come down sooner.

from this year onwards i think 1440p with high refresh rate should go mainstream in monitors , the best thing that happened in tv market is 4k TV. i never imagined india with 4 k tv availability and the second best thing is now they are also boasting of high refresh rate tv.the monitors have stagnated

it'd help if the current mid end GPUs are powerful enough to run most games at constant 120+ fps in 1440p, hopefully dlss/fsr can bridge the gap in GPU power to actually enjoy high refresh rate gaming in QHD and 4k 144hz monitors.
In the end most people wouldn't buy 3090 just to enjoy gaming with 1440p 144hz monitors, they'd rather play in 4k 60hz or get 3060ti/3070 and enjoy 1080p 144hz.

i think intel is going for similar approach ,get a card which can do 1440p high refresh rate natively and can do 60 fps on 4k .

I think 4k high fps gaming for all category is still 2 year ahead for any of this competitors as either the GPU is quiet expensive and so are the monitor driving them there. Personally I need a card which can run any game at all ultra setting have 144hz or 165hz constant at all time. And I am a happy person :P

I have received RPtech invite to buy 3080TI FE at 107k.

Is this invite worth anything? I don't want the card as I don't have the system for it. I thought I might get a chance next year. wasn't expecting anything so sooner.

This card is just overpriced. Not that much gains for a card worth 1 lakh.
Should have been at 80's

Given the price it asks for now and the performance it has over RTX 3080 is not huge. Just checked a video and Mdcomputers are selling RTX 3080 for 81500 offline.
3080Ti FE is for 107000 so does it commands that much price hike for the FPS it is offering, everyone knows it that the answer is No. But this is your money so at the end of the day its your decision.

3080 is the sweet spot for 4K gaming. Even for machine learning and deep learning, 3080 Ti does not add any kind of value (like every other 3xxx Ti card except 3060 Ti). 3090, with its 24GB memory does make it much better for some serious data crunching.

May not be completely relevant; I have been tracking pricing trend of new RTX 3060 Ti, 3070 and used RTX 2060 here in Hong Kong for fun. Generally, used RTX 2060 was around 31K mark and new 3060 ti and 3070 were 56K and 71K respectively. Now since last few days, used RTX 2060 is available around 22K mark and new 3060 ti and 3070 are around 43K and 54K, respectively !

I think not long before 3070 would be 45-46K-ish and 3060 ti 35-37k-ish here in HK :)

Edit: RTX 3000 series from Zotac for reference

Prices are going to come down by another 10 percent or more because now there is no lockdown, all companies are working to their full potential. Talking about TSMC, Samsung etc. AIB are also working to their fullest.

Ethereum will move away from their current concept of proof of work to proof of stake. Next Gen GPU from AMD and Nvidia are almost going to be displayed. Intel is also jumping into the GPU market to make matters interesting for more or less.

Russia and Ukraine war has also created some stock diversion to other countries, while price may not come down instantly as we know how AIB, distributors, wholesalers, retailers made money in the past 2 years. We have all waited for this day, so let's wait for a few more days guys. Offline stores in Bengaluru at SP Road are saying that prices will not increase now plus they said that prices of SMPS have also come down as a lot of small time miners were buying them for their rigs. I inquired about 3070Ti from Asus, TUF Gaming. 67k with bill without the entire build. With build he was willing to give me for 63k. I was building 5950x+x570 Asus Motherboard+32GB RAM+2 TB Crucial NVMe ssd+Noctua D15+6 Cooler master fan+logitech wireless gaming mouse and Corsair Mech KB.
