^ So on the 750 UL, you are downloading 24/7? Only then you will reach 145 GB.

The advantage of the 500C is that downloads will be only during 2-8 and you can browse at full speed during rest of the time. I can't browse properly with downloads going on in the background.

Yup. 24x7.

Yeah with torrent downloading, surfing is almost next to impossible. But with direct downloading, its quite bearable.

Just got a call from my local cable manager.He confirmed that the speeds would be upped from 512kbps to 1mbps and we should start seeing the effects very soon.Let me remind you that this at this point in time is only applicable for subscribers living in Hyderabad.

Great news. I have been having nice speed with stability on Combo 600 plan for years now, some more speed won't hurt :hap2: and UL plans with speed boost looks tempting, tomorrow the truth will be unveiled.

Just now i checked the link Chennai Telephones-GSM-FWT instrument

It states it is the promotional offer basis for a period of 90 days.

In the table Plan validity says 90 days w.e.f 24-11-11

2Mbps upto 8GB, 512kbps thereafter, plan exclusively in Chennai circle.

I'm on UL1350.. I used to get almost 5-6mbps without speed caps for few months, I don't know how .. Now, I should get 4mbps up to 20GB but getting 2mbps only. I've complained them many times but no use :-(
