ICC like service for items from UK?

Got my phone through Aramex SnS today. Extremely satisfied with service, shipment handling, customer support, customs process and delivery. The response time is fantastic and worth the extra money you spend.
 
Newegg accepts paypal now and I have seen people have bought using indian credit cards. Try it.
And what's the deal with shopnship referal ? If I invite someone, will he get discount ? I haven't even started using my account :P

Yes..U can save on shipping charges for referrals...(arnd $3 for 1 referal in case account is opened for $5)

Give the account detail to someone for claiming referral amount

Have you tried it? I went till the last step, but in the Paypal shipping address, only our indian address can be entered although I had entered the correct US shipping address in the NewEgg shipping address page.

One of the guys on the OTHER forum told me that he bought stuff using his HFDC card. He even has a newegg buying thread going on there. You might wanna check.
 
I was thinking of getting a laptop from US to India (Aramex Shop & Ship)

Has anybody got a laptop through Aramex

How will be their handling and safety of the product .

What happens if their is any transit damage

will aramex pay anything .

Custom duty will be 10% if i remember correctly
 
^ The duty will be about 14.71% for laptops. Their handling is good and laptops will come in a good packing anyway.

They also have an option for insurance, you can contact them for more details.

i had bought a laptop through icc, it was pretty neatly packed and was delivered without any problem.

I wanted to check whether ICC would prove cheaper than aramex

they gave me a quote of 34500 rs for a laptop worth $595 inlcusive of everything.

The shipping rates are almost the same for Aramex and ICCWorld. But in the case of Aramex the customs will be at actuals and you will receive the receipt plus you have to place the order yourself from the US merchant. Also you will not know the final price unless it reaches India.

Whereas in the case of ICC, you can know the final amount incl customs, shipping etc beforehand.

But they didnt transferred the credit since you opened the account on 30th Nov..

For claiming referral we need to claim the discount within 1 month of opening of account...
