9/10 average rating. :O Strong contender for game of the year perhaps(I can't even think of a single game coming out this year that has a shot at toppling it except BF3). GOTY edition is confirmed. I guess, i'll wait and purchase the GOTY edition instead. Worth the wait. On a side note, I've Portal 1 but never tried it. Yea..FML.

Guys do post your first hand nutshell review.

The People Are Panning Portal 2

OMG can you guys please take a look at this link you dont need DLC's to play extra missions the store is purely cosmetic thats ALL ok if you want to pimp iut your robot or want extra gesture that is all Valve is not selling you extra test chambers or missions if that happens valve will be scrutinised by the community which they lokk after soo much. so the naysayers can you please wait and play the game and then give your opinions

My bet is on ME3 or Witcher 2.

I ordered my copy off Flipcart when it was 890. . now that they have dropped it to 620, I asked for a refund . . They agreed !! W00t !

Way to go Flipcart. . but Ship it fast damn it !! Can't Wait !!

The game is pwning reviews all over. . way 2 go VALVE !! <3

Ill judge that by playing the game ps3 version better then the other two i think the author is trollin and for the ARG i dont think its over :P

If I'm not mistaken, this game is still running on the old Source engine. So technically, the existing consoles should easily be able to max it out, but the 360 verion hasn't. Unless the PS3 version has a native 1080p resolution with every other detail (including AA) maxed out, there is no way, it can match the quality of the PC version.

dude having voicechat will allowus to coordinate better i think it willl give a much more personal experience :D

I'm sure all those AAA titles will be contenders and might even be better games. But the unwashed insane nerd love that portal has been showered with? Hard to beat, as all the gamereview scores tell you.

Edit: Also, got the following reply from flipkart after I mailed them:

Heck, you guys posted a huge list of games that may claim the game of the year award..lets see how those game fairs in the coming time.

Anyway, sourced the game. Should get hold of it by tomorrow's night. :)

So far this year has been pretty mediocre, in terms of quality game releases. :(
