Sola also has all that, and modding will definitely pick up.
The only differentiating and decisive factor(depends on you) is the front cam. I say it's worth spending more on SOLA

Thats the cheapest but since they are not a big player left them out. They seem to be pretty ok. Have COD option for metros.
I have got a Samsung Champ from them through a ebay listing. Not sure whether they still sell phones in ebay.

I know ACE 2 looks really good on paper with all its specs why would people NOT recommend it although it stands out on specs as well as its competitive pricing ? I have heard Samsung phones do not perform up to the mark and the build quality is very poor.
I too thought ACE 2 was the phone to get when i decided to buy an Android , but now after a few weeks in the Mobile forums , i have almost checked it off.

Well, I think look wise and build quality wise Xperia Sola will win anyday.
But features wise, Ace 2 wins. PLS LCD 2 screen too. Bigger battery and front camera.
Also, hoping that Ace 2 falls to 15k in a month or 2 after launch. I would grab it instantly(finally, my phone buying time has COME!)

sometime back i also wanted to buy a phone and adexmart was offering at decent prices. I checked about it's rep over the net and found out that they sometimes buy the item from the black/grey market in chennai and hence the lower rates. Don't knw the credibilty of this info.
I ordered the fone frm flipkart at the end as the price difference was just 400 bucks. at least i had peace of mind.

Well, my actual budget for phone is 15k, and I don't want to budge much.
So if Ace 2 launches for 17.5k(I'm pretty sure of huge community support to follow, besides the chipset for this, Xperia U,P Sola are all the same) it might as well settle for close to 15k in 1-2 months, which is exactly my timeframe for purchase

No bro , I just cannot increase my budget anymore. getting stuff around 20k is becoming hard, thats why i am looking for good deal for Sola. Let me know if you find any good deals or some coupons for websites where sola is readily available. Seems to be sold out everywhere except flipkart

In Xperia P they seem to have done something with the subpixels. By adding a white sub-pixel they claim that they have made the display energy efficient. Xperia P is also with gsmarena. The battery life concerns would be cleared once their battery tests are done.

I am kind of amazed by the response on Sola, sold out at many places. Wish the developers choose for custom rom as well..
