Suggest me some GPRS plans

well the docomo unlimited plan is not actually unlimited .it has a cap of 6gb.better go with the 48 rupees plan .got a cap of 2gb which is more than sufficient for a regular to high user

I didn't found any 5GB for Rs. 95/- plan. Are you sure?? It's vodafone??

BTW where are you getting this plan?? Because in Kolkata there is no such plan.
 
^^ Yes its there on Vodafone, my subscription ended only yesterday (Rs. 95 eRecharge = 5 GB/ Month), you can call up cc to confirm. But only for mobile, cant connect to PC. So 5 GB is pretty much useless in that sense. Live in Nashik, Maharshtra.

I am guessing you thought this was a Mobile Office Connect plan, but unfortunately it isnt.

Is it only for Prepaid ? Could not find any details on Postpaid.

Are you able to surf sites regularly ? Or just WAP sites.
 
I just called up CC, and this plan has been changed from this month to Rs. 95 for 2 GB data usage (down from 5 GB). There was another plan, whereby Rs. 10 would be deducted daily for unlimited data usage. No validity as such, only the 10 bucks per day for unilimited usage.

Plans do seem to differ with different circles, so better call up the CC guys to know about these (or any other) plans.

Praks, yeah these are for pre-paid users. And yes, i am able to surf sites regularly, not restricted to only WAP sites. Speeds are decent too.
 
the best i've used til now among airtel,vodafone,aircel and docomo is of the following order docomo>>airtel>>aircel..

Nope. I thought it as GPRS plan. Well I think I should confirm with CC. Thanks for the info. But I think there is no such plan here in Kolkata circle.
 
BTW I called up CC and they said no such 2GB for 95/- plan exists in Vodafone.

Vodafone has normal limited plans : 14/- 98/- etc.

And only two UL plan

21/- for 2days

and 251 for 30days

:(
 
^^ Clearly its a case of different plans for different circles. I on the other hand have just activated the Rs. 95 for 2GB plan on my Vodafone card :)

Yup...!! As I guessed. No such plan exists in Kolkata Circle...!! :(
 
In Chennai Circle, Vodafone Mobile Connect is available for Rs 98 with 2 GB free usage and you can connect to your PC as well. For shorter durations, Rs 14 for 3 days, 200 MB. :)

Thats an excellent plan, wish it was available in Maharashtra though :(
 
I used airtel 98 recrage ... I have been using for a week ... pretty good I must say .... its functonal ... speeds are a little low but I dint have high expectations to begin with anyway.
