I *was* one of the biggest fan of Prison Break but after season 4 i am not really waiting for the next season. PB became a drab as soon as the season 3 started. Sona and Sylla absolutely killed PB.

Coming on to being on the edge well in PB i could guess that what was gonna happen next as in i knew he will break out of Sona and He would be able to steal Sylla but in Lost i really don't know whats gonna happen in the next episode or even in the season finale. I guess thats more then enough to keep me glued.

No more..watch season 4..its awesome..rave ratings..some of the episodes were exhilarating..truly Prison break style..:hap2:

Please do not compare LOST with Heroes and PB !!!!!

Its like comparing a Emporio Armani Underwear to a "Mooth Stained Kachcha" ......(where obviously LOST is the Armani UW) :)

I was a big Heroes fan now for season 1 ... Season 2 was a letdown ..and season 3 is pathetic(though loved teh way season 3 started off)....

PB season 4 was boring in the beginning .... but became a lil interesting in the last few episodes... I am glad that PB is ending this season .. Cos frankly they didn't have anything new to show.....

^Mooth stained kacchha ... wow now thats a new one

No TV series season can ever come close to Prison Break season 1 ever in terms of thriller value. I still remember I watched the 22 episodes of season 1 on the trot. I finished it in like 20 hours I think. It was mindblowing. Even the Season 2 was pretty good. But as everybody states, they should have ended it after season 2 itself, every major character got a closure in season 2 anyways. After season 2 it went all downhill for prison break and it became just another cheesy TV show craving for TRPs.

Heroes started off brilliantly. The character development in season 1 was fantastic but they completely lost the plot in season 2 and 3. I have huge hopes from season 4, the first episode was truly remarkable. But still you just cannot compare a show like heroes or prison break with LOST. They are not even in the same league as far as the production values are concerned.

What I love about LOST is that unlike any other TV series , its not desperate for TRPs. They already know when they are ending the show, so they could care less about the TRPs. They are telling the story the way they want to and not by which angle gets them the highest ratings. Anyways, to each his own. Everybody cannot appreciate a show like LOST. I am such a big fan because I have invested countless hours in analyzing and predicting the events of LOST. Thats what makes my experience special. The experience is not the same for a causal viewer. So yes, I understand.

P.S : Flaming LOST in its own thread with dedicated LOST fans lurking around, not a very good idea. People will obviously be biased.:P

   Sorry guys ... just couldn't resist posting

^^ Love the Indian twist. Since Heroes is coming to India(Parkman's drawing) why not Lost. They already have time-travel, maybe they can travel to a different world now. the world of movies.

My take on the 6th episode :- 316
Just saw the 6th episode...and for the first time i felt that i was rather watching an episode of Heroes/Prison break...you know where every thing falls into place according to ones whims and fancies..How did Kate land in Jack's House? Frank lapidus pilots the craft again after being unsuccessful to pilot Flight 815? Jin meeting them on the Island..i hardly meet my friends in my colony...and Jin is making a habit of meeting a handful of people he knows..WOW talk about destiny !!!
Besides I expected them to make it back to the island only by season 6...so suddenly, them being on the island...in a flash..is quite hard to digest..
Well...thats just my 2 Cents !!

There were lot of similarties between this flight and the Oceanic 815 flight.

No 1. Jack was again with the dead body in the plane.

No 2. Hurley was with a guitar like charlie.

No 3. Sayed was a convict like Kate.

In the pilot episode the series starts with almost similar situation like its happened this time. Jake wakes up in the middle of the forest. And this time again he wakes up runs and starts saving people.

The last episode wasn't that great .... But that does not mean it wasn't good.. It just did not have the pace of the other episodes in this Season.....

What makes me wonder is.... In this episode the story goes to where I thought it would go somewhere down in season 6..... So "What the hell do the writers have in store for us in the next Season !!!!"

Really looking forward to it....

that guy from Vantage Point..the guy who says " I am sorry about your friend " is supposed to play an important role it seems...and so does the Ana Lucia Look-alike.. lol

Its Season One all over again.

It looks like that they have crashed on the small island where linous used to live with the others(Where Kate and Sauer made up in the prison). Also i guess the Pilot left with Sun to the main island from the small island. Everybody is accountable now. Only Sayed is missing. I guess he too ended up in the main island.

Even though everyone is back on the Island, it looks like our characters aren't quite all "back together" yet. It just wouldn't be Lost without flashes between multiple storylines / timelines, would it? Here's what it's looking like:

1970's - Jin, Sawyer, Juliet, Jack, Kate, Hurley

2008 - Locke, Ben, Sun, Sayid, Frank

It was another great episode but I felt it was a bit rushed.

In E07 I did not get the point as to why ben convinced locke not to attempt for suicide, but he killed with the wire. I bet there is a story line for this, but little curious to know in advance.

He probably did it on purpose. He might have been knowing what would happen when Locke is back on the island.

This is my best guess :

Ben needed Locke to convince the Oceanic five to return to the island. But as soon as Locke told ben about Jin being alive and the ring, Ben knew that he could convince Sun and manipulate the Oceanic Five to return to the island. Locke was not needed anymore. Also maybe Locke working with widmore might have affected Ben's decision.

There's a chance the writers are just really setting us up for a huge surprise when we find out Ben is a "good guy" in the end - but if they are, they're doing one hell of a job. Once again, this week's episode made Widmore seems like the good guy, Ben seems like the bad guy - BIG TIME. We can now confirm that he has pretty much lied about everything off the Island (intentionally lying to Sun about Jin being alive, MURDERING John Locke, killing Abaddon, etc.)
