For widget, on the home screen, tap that widget and keep it tapped for prolonged period. Then on each widget a red cross and green settings sign will come. Tap the cross to delete the widget

Guys today morning while download India maps using nokia maps loader, i selected the 121 MB map installation and proceeded with the download.

It showed me

Downloading : India (1/2)

Now after some 93% it saved the maps and then came

Downloading : Asia Index

Its download time was like 5 Hrs :O What is it that it was downloading now ?? I cancelled this download thinking it was downloading maps of entire asia region which is like 1GB.

I tried downloading maps again for some small country (0.6 MB types) and it too did the Asia Index download. It should ridiculous times like 66 Hrs and all but happens fast so we have to ignore that time. So we can let that asia index let install.
 
I am using Garmin XT but it seems it does not provide so much information when navigating. Check these screenshots. Any way to get more detailed information or have to live with it ? I like garmin only for its navigation and offline content for nbearby restaurants, places etc etc.
There are icons on screen but they are not really clickable :S

Stupid Ovi store app. :@ It isn't working since a few days now. It gets stuck up on loading. Today I did a hard reset and it still doesn't work. :|

I just tried and it works fine for me. May be you can try this....uninstall the app, download latest one from ovi website and install it and see if it works.
 
Which twitter client should I use ? Also all the apps I install goes into installed apps directory.

Is there a way I can move them to their respective categories ?

Yes you can do that...follow these steps

1. Go to the Installed Apps folder where you see all the apps.

2. Go to options -> Organize...doing this will show all icons as sort of editable.

3. Go to Options -> New Folder and create a folder of your choice

4. Now select any icon of any of the apps and go to options -> move to folder.

5. Navigate to the folder you created and a move the app there

6. Done :)
 
^^No not that. I already tried that. I wanted to move the respective apps into the premade categories like I want Nimbuz and other apps to show under Internet section on the main menu and like wise.

Yes you can do that also...the same way do a "Move to folder" and select the Internet folder.

Did you try hard reset as well as formatting of your memory card (or deleting all the system files/folders in it) or just a hard reset? I once had problem with my music player refusing to refresh my library which stayed even after hard reset. Deleting all the system folders from memory card finally fixed the issue.
 
@ raksrules, does garmin navigating software has lane assist feature on ur mobile? I was browsing their site and their GPS devices have it. Its amazing how much detail info they can provide...
 
^ When I hard reset my phone, I formatted my memory card as well, everything was made new. :P

Stupid Ovi Store! :@ :@ I wanted to download the Facebook app and also try out the new Facebook & Twitter app. But the damn store says it isn't available for 5233, but it is available for 5230 and 5800. :@

Since it is in Ovi Store, I assume the Facebook & Twitter app is the final version and not a beta? There is one in betalabs which I can download, but I would like the final version if it really is one. The other Facebook app I can download from other sources. Didn't knew hard reset removed the pre-loaded apps too. I tried re-installing firmware, but that didn't install those apps either. :|

BTW, anyone using Advanced Device Locks Pro? I remember it was working fine earlier, but since a couple of months, it doesn't work properly. When I set a password for protecting applications, it doesn't protect it. Same problem after reinstalling and even after hard reset. It stopped working before the firmware update, so that's not the problem either.
