Windows 7 RC Observations & Screenshots

I am not able to intergrate Internet download manager into google chrome in windows 7. Anyone tried that? It worked fine in XP SP3.

Dude.. its actually working fine for me....
Try using IDM 5.16 BUILD 3...
yOU WILL easily get it on Demonoid....
After installing it... Activate the Advanced browser Integrations...

Goto:

Download -> Option -> General (its a tab activate it) ->

There, tick the checkbox for "Use Advanced Browser Integration":.... It will require a restart and then will work fine.:clap:

Its working fine for Me on Windows 7 RC x64 .... should definetly work for you as well....

This bug was there in 7068 and as well as RC.
The folder icons are messed up, they dont preview the folder contents properly.

Look at the first folder, the contact icons are messedup, and in the other folder icons, the icons of the folder contents are in a white boxed.. whats up with that?
The same happens with folders with videos in them as well, the video thumbnail are also boxed.

Anyone else facing this stupid bug?
 
@m0h1t: Nope bro... not facing this bug in my installation. I checked all different type of folders to see if this happens, but everything works just fine, videos, images, documents... all fine.
 
Sorry mohit .... But I am not facing the problem as welll.... I dont know why it is happening for you.... You can see for yourself....

I will recomend to try reinstalling your OS .... using defaylt srttings.... That shall do the job.//////... Anyways best of luck.... See ya...
 
Himanshu you do have the same issue as me.

Look carefully at the icons of the mp3's.. do you see them in a white box?

and when I put a "'folder.jpg" in the root of a folder, it is not showing up as the folder image :-[
 
@m0h1t: Just curious... did u upgrade from ur earlier beta version to RC, instead of clean install?

If yes, then it might be possible that this bug from beta might have carried on to your RC installation. Just a speculation.
 
no I did a clean fresh install.
Just to be clean on the issues..
The folder.jpg present in a folder, should show up like this.

But this does not happen, rather it shows multiple icons of the files within the folder, like this

And even then the icons within folder icon are in a white box. It is not suppose to look like this.
