Ya, I had this problem. Some experts told me, it's image burn. If you can manage, use it. Otherwise, you need to replace it.

Back when I installed Gizmolord ROM, I experienced it to be a bit smoother. However, Google Chrome app's performance was not smooth at all (isntalled Uniquely Named, but still chrome wasn't smooth). Is it just me facing these problems ?

Used gizmolord, aokp and now CM10. have yet to confirm gps on CM10 but otherwise i havent faced any issue so far. Buttersmooth, no lag while wakeup too

Rather I am underclocking CPU to 10XX now with minimum frequency 1XX to try improve battery life.

Idle / standby battery life already has improved a lot as mentioned by Kuduku.

@arunlakra15, any update for ur phone's fix? I was fearless while playing with roms on N7 and Pantech burst too but from ur and other members exp. little bit worried now. I am using CWM touch version only.

@Harpy.eagle I've shipped my phone to an experienced TE member for unbricking it. I've high hopes though. After installing two other roms, I was quite confident and fearless too (I used the CWM provided by gizmolord forums, don't remember which version was it) . But the phone bricked while installing Cyanogenmod 10. If it gets unbricked, I swear I won't install any other custom ROMs unless I buy myself those ORT-JTAG tools.

guys from 21 apr no CM10 updates ? any one knows why ? Read the xda forums developers are working on it but . Any one tried Paranoid ROM released on May 2

Hey @kuduku
how much battery life you are getting on normal to moderate use? (Including gaming and movies maybe)
does it still heat up while playing games?

Easily does one full day , morning till late night . Does heat up but not extreme way . My S2 also does heat up .

Major battery hogs are display and data connection. If one uses phone with wifi alone, battery wont be an issue.

Edit: GPS is not working in CM10 on my pantech. :(

How long does it take for locking position? Does it show change in direction with rotation of mobile (to confirm magnetometer working). On stock ICS my phone used to lock in 5 to 10 sec. Now it takes mins and i guess its based on data connection/ service providers towers etc. An arrowhead does not change direction on CM10 now when i rotate mobile.

@Superbad, I didnt test panaroid and was having AOKP for small time period. Didnt check gps on it.
