GPU prices are at their lowest in 15 months, could fall to ‘attractive’ level already in May

the actual gpu soldering with main pcb becomes weak due to continuous heat .similar to plastic objects when exposed to sun they become brittle and break
Nah it doesn't. A bunch of youtubers have already tested this afaik. Gaming with rtx is generally more stressful on the card coz you're running at a much higher wattage.

Wrong! Constant heat doesn't damage. What weakens the solder joints is the frequent hot and cold cycles which are done in gaming or content creation (frequent and infrequent use). You should read the science behind it.

Thats right.

And exactly what I also said I my earlier post.

Also it is relevant to mention that earlier it was tin lead alloy which was used for soldering; but most industries have stopped using lead for soldering (due to toxic nature of lead). They use a combination of alloys which have lesser effect on environment at the detrimental cost on soldering joint. They also save money in the process as these alloys are cheaper to mass produce.

so what the general consensus then? Is there a way to check health of a MINING gpu via software or is it only possible by physically opening it and taking it apart to check the condition of internal parts...?

How can we know if a MINING gpu is OK to purchase?

Considering 3080s are selling used for $500 (<40k INR) abroad is it unrealistic to expect one here for 45-47k?
Expecting the prices to fall below the MRP of the FE models is definitely unrealistic. More realistic thing would be to expect the brands selling their cards at the cost of 5000-10000 in surplus of what their FE models cost.

AIB 3080s are already selling at 60k in a few places, that's 2k lower than the FE price.

Where it is being sold? What website or location? any info?
I've hyperlinked the Flipkart URL in 'this' are you not able to see it? Don't know if you're on Tapatalk or something but I see it hyperlinked. The item supposedly comes n goes out of stock.
