It would still take many many many years to make soldering loose if the GPU is only being used for light gaming or general day to day workflow. That can happen even if using for normal gaming or day to day work

Nah it doesn't. A bunch of youtubers have already tested this afaik. Gaming with rtx is generally more stressful on the card coz you're running at a much higher wattage.the actual gpu soldering with main pcb becomes weak due to continuous heat .similar to plastic objects when exposed to sun they become brittle and break
Wrong! Constant heat doesn't damage. What weakens the solder joints is the frequent hot and cold cycles which are done in gaming or content creation (frequent and infrequent use). You should read the science behind it.the actual gpu soldering with main pcb becomes weak due to continuous heat .similar to plastic objects when exposed to sun they become brittle and break

yea :')With Ray tracing.
Does AMD GPUs have Ray Tracing or not?yea :')
Still 55-60k here for some more timeConsidering 3080s are selling used for $500 (<40k INR) abroad is it unrealistic to expect one here for 45-47k?
Yes they have now. But it is like what was with rtx 20 series. 7000 series amd gpu will be better just like 30 series of nvidiaDoes AMD GPUs have Ray Tracing or not?
Expecting the prices to fall below the MRP of the FE models is definitely unrealistic. More realistic thing would be to expect the brands selling their cards at the cost of 5000-10000 in surplus of what their FE models cost.Considering 3080s are selling used for $500 (<40k INR) abroad is it unrealistic to expect one here for 45-47k?
AIB 3080s are already selling at 60k in a few places, that's 2k lower than the FE price.Expecting the prices to fall below the MRP of the FE models is definitely unrealistic. For new card ?AIB 3080s are already selling at 60k in a few places, that's 2k lower than the FE price.
Where?I was talking about used in my post. But this card, new, has been selling for 59k, multiple users claim they have received it.
Stop considering mining GPUs untouchables and check them the same way as you do with "gaming" GPUs.How can we know if a MINING gpu is OK to purchase?
