P.s: Im going to buy a new monitor.. shud i go for 1 more than 19" for my rig?
Whats the budget. A 20" monitor with 1600*900 is ideal considering your GPU.

SMC always asks 10 - 15% more for almost all hardware , thats why i always buy from Computer Empire, both shop sell the exact same stuff but SMC always overcharges.

planning for a MSI GTX460 DDR5 Hawk edition. Wanted to know will it work properly with a Core 2 quad 2.6ghz or will i need to go in for a i5 quad core processor.

What is the power supply that you have? It should work fine with your Proccy.

Between what motherboard do you have and the monitor size/resolution that you game at?

thinking of getting me a 6850 this weekend, to go with PhenomII 555BE(unlocked to four cores) and Tacens Supero 500w PSU.

@DarkAngel- will the PSU be OK or I need to upgrade?

^ Change that PSU. My cousins Tacens Supero 600W just blew up yesterday after running it for a week. He complained of some strange noises coming out from the PSU. He was running GTS 450 + i3 CPU.

Tacens PSU might look good on label, but they are not reliable brand to trust.

^^If u got 10k to spend,better spend it on an 22incher LED. :)

Lol! True bt i think with my current rig and even with the Graphic card i have.. it will be hard to play with good details in that resolution.. and im a sucker for good detail even if its in a 15" LED.. so maybe 20" LED Samsung/ LG wud do .. any suggestions for models no.s?

hey guys i have a vx450 psu an e6600 and 2 gigs of ram planning to go for the GTX 560 costs around 13850 at delta

is my proccy and psu good enuf to run the card without any power problems and bottle necks?

^^ yeah it is, but the C2D will bottleneck in games, newer games run better on the new faster duals and ofcourse quads(although only 3 cores are used mostly)

ok which one of the following cards will allow me to game in 1080p HD goodness

6850(btw the prices have gone way down) or the gtx560?
