it's old news and the things are looking dull right now.. it doesn't even matter if No_one is not interested in releasing the method but all we want is a method to play new games and the ability to back them up..

i live in indonesia, and here in my country, there is a hot rumor about new dongle called JB2 and can play 3.60+ game burned to Blank BD...

It also still can play from HDD...

It require us still on 3.55 (not cfw), use the dongle (without power eject), and it will boot the ps3, then you can insert the copied / pirated bd disc. It already being sold and my friend also the sellers already confirmed it can play FIfa 12 and PES 12 and more game coming soon

well, if they have found a way to run the games, i don't think it'll take time for developers to reverse engineer the method so that we can play through our hdd and even if they aren't able to do that, it's just a matter of time before discs start selling in palika..
 
apparently, DUPLEX have cracked GOW Origins Collection.. so, for those who have been waiting to play these PSP titles on their HDTVs, are in for a treat..

PS: they have cracked the PSN title, so don't get optimistic about the cracking of the retail 3.66 games, they are still afar, in Indonesia..

^Precisely. Please tread carefully on this thread. If admins decide to trash the thread, that'd mark the end of any discussions related to jailbreaking and hacking.

PS: Do not discuss anything on the scene releases and who's cracked what.
 
Another progress on from a ps3news member, TUHTA on the CFW scene (and this looks promising):

As you can see, he's signed into PSN and also the firmware is 3.72 and you can see him booting FTP server, which is a homebrew app.

tuhta is also claiming to provide PSN capability to the users even when the console is on his cfw.. As he has said that the exploit which he has found is a hardware-based exploit which Sony can't patch up, like on the 360..

PS: things are looking really exciting right now..
 
^^ yeah, cheating is not at all justified but there are still people on the COD servers who cheat from time to time..

though, psn or no psn, doesn't matter for me and i don't have any issues if Sony asks us to put the genuine disc in the ps3 if we wanna play online..
