Can we request Xtreamer shipping to put up a lower valued invoice when shipping? LOL...:ohyeah::ohyeah:

I know that's not ethics..leave alone Xtreamer agreeing to this..

ok getting serious, total import Duties can be anywhere around 15-20% of the invoice value..Correct me if i am wrong.

But my concern is who will handle the warranty stuff if at all this Xtreamer thing gets problematic..

Anyone here ordered a single piece directly? what was the duty amount?
 
Any who has dealt with KMD will know that for warranty you'll have to RMA it through him unless Xtreamer in due time finds a local distributor which might cover your warranty in case you have issues.

Problem right now is that these units are flying off the shelve quicker than predicted, which means we'll have to come together and reach the ideal number before it's too late in which case we'd have to wait till September for the next batch.

u will get it cheaper it urself...i dont know how kmd can procure it cheaper...120 euros come around 8.4k...and they r undervaluing their shipments...to 23 dollars.... that makes it excempt from duties even by indian standards...

doesnt anyone have an import licence - this reduces the customs to an extent...

Can anyone confirm the package weight and dimensions?
 
we added 30 antennas for 2 xtreamers. later they made it 2 xtreamers and 2 antennas :P
 
If I had know KMD would have buyed the player for me.
I would have brought from him instead of directly ordering for myself.
Hopefully everything will be sorted out.
Just wanted to ask one thing how much will be custom or octroi tax for this device.
As such it value is 6800rs(100 Euro).
BTW who is going to pay for the taxes me or the courier people and if i m going to pay then where will be i collecting my player from.

Looks like you hv already ordered one..Is this shipped for you ?

The shipping carrier is DHL I think. From what I know, they will contact u and inform u the duty. They will pay the duty on your behalf and take it from you when delivering the package. They might charge you some transaction/handling fees for doing this (paying duty for u).

I was planning to buy WD TV when it came out but then I decided against it.

Now this time I was in a dilemma which NMT to buy.

I had Myka,AC Ryan HD ON,PopCorn Hour and Mvix Ultio.

But then i decided to buy Xtreamer which i think is not a bad unit for the price which i m getting.

Personally if i had knew that KMD would help me buy this unit I would have shipped from him but now it is ok.

The main requirement for me was the net capabilities so that i stream my movie from my computer to my room.:ohyeah:

What's the diff b/w Xtreamer and Mvix Ultio..Mvix ultio has a component out (which is better than a HDMI in some cases).. Can people here point out the other differences ? I don't mind the extra 30$ price tag on the Mvix Ultio if there aren't any major differences..
 
^^ Does this thing support firmware upgrade ?

I suppose harddrive support is upto 1.5TB and not 2TB

Also i suppose this is not available anywhere else except the three websites listed there and their own website too :(
