I am using windows dialer for this disconnection problem, till yesterday it was working fine but its horrible today with frequent disconnections,Refer this thread for disconnection issues:

Can anybody from Gurgaon who is using this confirm which exchange do we need to go for this 3G sim? There are so many exchanges out here and I am new

^^ You dont have to go to exchange but BSNL Customer Service Centre (CSC). Go to the nearest exchange and find out where the nearest CSC is ?

A simple 5 sec Google search(Gurgaon BSNL CSC) helped ..sometimes thats the faster way

My download speeds are good(480-520KBps) but when browsing , the sites are taking a lot of time to load..

I too face disconnections but that is like only 2-3 times in 4 hours.

Yeah, the disconnection issue is very random and is definitely a network issue as i have tried 3 different devices to check if the problem is with the 3G device/modem

Check for the pings

to check ping it should be connected for 1min atleast right !? it gets dc every 50-55 sec

^^ Did that and there is quite some difference. All 2G sims in bangalore have 3G access.
For 3G sims its show up as HSPA BSNL Mobile in E122 whereas HSDPA BSNL Mobile for 2G sim. This is w/o any 2G/3G data packs and pro-rata 1p/10KB usage.

Also plz note there are 2 kinds of 3G sims---one is the usual Red 3G logo 256KB sim and the new 128KB 3G Blue color sim.

I have the 256k blue color sim but everywhere I am getting only the HSDPA signal. My friend got the sim from the same CSC and he is getting HSPA signal. Both our sims are the same. Do you think its some problem with the sim?

And on HSDPA I'm not getting good upload speeds, only 384k whereas everyone here and my friends are getting 1mbps+!

Mate.. isnt all the same.

HSPA is HSDPA and HSUPA. i think. the downlink and uplink. so the speeds also.

^ Ya but mine is only HSDPA. I have no issues with download speeds. But upload is limited at 384k that means its NOT HSUPA.

And why the difference? My friend using it in Chennai itself, got sim from same CSC and for him its showing as HSPA.
